1. Merchant Relationship Manager (Hospitality Sector)
Key Responsibilities
Unlock and grow hospitality sector across the countryDrive aggressive recruitment of merchants within the hospitality sector countrywide i.e. Hotels, Restaurants, Tours & Travel.Advise the bank on best solutions in this sectorRegular merchant visitsEnsure continuous merchant training on how POS works and card acceptance proceduresPush for merchant turnovers in this sectorEnsure excellent customer experience for customers using the Equity POSEnsure cashier motivation is maximum at merchant outletsCross-sell the Bank's productsEnsure high productivity levels by merchant relationship officer(s) through performance reviews by way of mentoring and coachingConnect with branch staff to deliver on POS revenuesEnsure 100% compliance to the Banks Policies and ProceduresPromote the Bank’s corporate imageQualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Business related degree/diploma from a recognized University or CollegeOver 4 years working experience in sales/marketing, of which 2 years must have been at management level in hospitality industryProven track record in achieving targetsHolders of professional qualifications will have an added advantageExposure to KATO for Tours, KAHC for Hotels and background on all other related bodies will be an added advantage2. Merchant Relationship Manager (Medical and Oil Sectors)

Unlock and grow medical and oil sectors across the countryAdvise the Bank on best solutions to this sectorDrive aggressive recruitment of merchants within the sectors countrywide i.e. Hospitals, Petrol stations, Oil companies etcRegular merchant visitsEnsure continuous merchant training on how POS works and card acceptance proceduresPush for merchant turnovers in this sectorEnsure excellent customer experience for customers using the Equity POSEnsure cashier motivation is maximum at merchant outletsCross-sell, the Bank’s productsEnsure high productivity levels by merchant relationship officer(s) through performance reviews by way of mentoring and coachingConnect with branch staff to deliver on POS revenuesEnsure 100% compliance to the Bank’s Policies and ProceduresEnsure high standards of Customer Service are maintainedPromote the Bank’s corporate imageQualifications, Knowledge and Experience
