2. HEAD OF SCHOOL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYAmong other duties, he/she will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership in the department;
• Relaying information to the senior management and department staff on issues of concern;
• Have the initiative of providing continuous improvement in the department;
• Ensuring the best standards are upheld in the department as per the training policy:
• Preparation of the departmental timetable;
• Clear students after they finish their courses;
• Carry out appraisals to staff in the department as per the Human Resource appraisal calendar;
• Ensure safe custody of the department’s facilities and resources;
Qualifications, skills and experience
The preferred candidate should:
• Have a Bsc. Information Technology, or a related degree from a recognized institution;
• Those with professional training in any area in Information Technology will be given priority;
• Previous experience in the same area will be of added advantage;
• Be self driven, with ability to multitask;
• Have good Communication Skills;
• Posses good leadership skills;
• Be up to date with current trends in the hospitality industry;
