Consultancy – Development of New Adeso Website
ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Adeso is an expanding and vibrant African-based international organization, working with communities to create environments in which Africans can thrive. We work to prevent and overcome situations that adversely affect community well-being by: reinvigorating the economy, developing skills for life and work, providing humanitarian aid, and influencing policy. Our belief that economic, social and environmental security is the bedrock of a healthy community drives the nature and intent of our programming. Adeso has been strengthening rural livelihood and delivering innovative humanitarian aid and development programs for the past 20 years. Currently, we have programs in Somalia, Kenya and South Sudan. Adeso is an exciting, dynamic organization experiencing managed rapid growth. It offers sound employment conditions with opportunities for personal growth and development.
SCOPE OF WORK
Adeso requires the services of a competent web designer (individual or firm) to develop a new trendy and user-friendly website for Adeso with a strong visual appeal. The website needs to embody Adeso’s wide and forward looking mandate as well as have a robust Content Management System (CMS) that can effectively manage large amounts of data and an array of file types including embedded video, audio, photo albums, HTML, PDF, and similar. The website also needs a donation system linked to our donor database (currently Donor Perfect in the US, subject to review), a robust constituent relationship management (CRM) system for active constituent engagement and personalized content, and the ability to manage constituent engagement directly through the website – i.e. online petitions and advocacy, tell-a-friend campaigns, and personal fundraising campaigns.
