Reporting to Chief Officer – Public Service Management and ICT
Job Description
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Implementation of advisory committee decisions as regards appointments, promotions and discipline.
- Ensuring compliance with public service values and principles in the county.
- Carry out staff audits, identifying gaps and proposing optimal staffing level in the county
- Preparing the budget for the HRM function
- Ensuring correct interpretation of human resource policies, rules, regulations, labor laws and other relevant statutes
- Establishing performance management systems and organizing for transfer of all human resource records from both national and county agencies
- Preparation of human resource transition reports and
- Performing any other duties as assigned
Requirements for appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Have a Bachelors degree in any of the following: Commerce (Human Resource Management Option), Social Sciences with a diploma in HR or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Be a member of the relevant professional body (IHRM).
- Have relevant working experience of not less than 10 years.
- Masters Degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.
- Be computer literate.
