Kenya Women Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position:

Communications Manager

Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, the Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Communications Strategy for the Institution.

KWFT Job Specific Responsibilities

Develop and implement Communication Strategy for the Institution.

Develop and maintain media relations within KWFT.

Writing and editing reports, press releases and other forms of internal and external communications.

Managing and planning press conferences, product launches and networking events.

Overseeing content development.

Managing and ensuring the KWFT’s website is up to date.

Develop and Manage the Social Media Platform for the Institution
The required qualification and experience needed for KWFT Communication Job

Minimum of University Degree in Communication.

Minimum of at least 3 years relevant experience in a busy communications environment in a PR, media relations or journalistic capacity.

An excellent understanding of the media on a National and International Level.

The ability to develop good relations with media houses and their representatives.

Experience in Web, Digital and Social Media content development

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Excellent interpersonal skills and creative thinking.

The ability to think spontaneously and respond positively to pressure.

The ability to manage a team effectively.
