Job Description–Real Estate Services Manager

Cytonn Real Estate, in partnership with a consortium of international real estate investors and High Net-worth investors, is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, team player, to be part of a team that will deploy over Kshs.3 billion of investor funds. The Real Estate Services manager will be part of a team that will manage all phases of Real Estate Developments.

The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and equity ownership plan.

Real Estate Services Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertaking real estate market research for site identification, site acquisition and business case preparation;

Conduct comprehensive market research on sales trends and consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits;

Conducting research using comparable properties sold in the area and investigate potential issues that affect value such as the title of the property;

Responsible for performing all aspects of the Site Acquisition process from site candidate identification and qualification through the completion of zoning approval for multiple sites;

Negotiation of Lease, Amendment, License and other agreements with property ownersand service providers

Perform duties including property listings, assisting prospective clients, accompany clients to property site, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts;

Promote sales of properties through advertisements and participation in listing services, either directly or via agents;

Survey assigned facilities based on established grading programs, as well as execution of all maintenance activities with portfolio holdings including repairs to maintain the facility.

Carryout property an facilities management for all Cytonn’s property portfolios

Undertake property valuation during the entire value chain of Real estate developments
Qualifications for the Real Estate Job:

5 years’ experience in real estate and property service management

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required

Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.

Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others

Strong analytic skills, including ability to independently conduct real estate market research, valuations and financial analysis

Demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly, verbally and in writing

Strong computer skills, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and Word

Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage productive relationships with development team members, public officials, funders and lenders, other staff, and the community

Ability to organize work, work independently, problem solve, and be persistent

Creativity, entrepreneurial, and a self driven attitude towards work, with a sense of humor is desired

Strong problem solving skills, with a bias to a sense of urgency

Ability to work in a team in a fast paced environment
