Job Description
Position title: Research Manager
Location: Nairobi
Job Summary: You will be responsible for Client Service and liaising with the Research team on delivering expected client deliverables as per agreed terms.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the whole research process is successfully executed and that the research objectives are met.Duties and Responsibilities
The main liaison between client and internal team
Responsible for compiling proposals and tender documents
Oversee the whole research process and the research team
Stay constantly up-to-date with the research team and update client on progress of the project
Manage all client service issues that come up
Review reports from research team before forwarding to client
Guide and oversee data processing and coding of verbatims and data capture
Liaise with client in data quality checks including data cleaning
Leads data analysis statistics and ensures data matrix is adequate
Responsible for quality control including to ensure tables make sense
Compile reports and send top line report to client as well as deal with questions from clients
Submit final report to client which may require presentation
Ensure accounts team invoices client and follows up collection
Responsible for getting feedback from clients
Ensure all the documentation and proof is well maintained
Manages and develops the research and office team
Education & Experience
A Bachelors in any Social Sciences Degree
At least 5 years solid experience in research field
Skills
Statistical analysis skills required
Strong Client Service skills are essential
Strong Research Project Management skills
Good management and leadership skills
Strong planning skills
A good understanding of data management
Good interpersonal skills
