Job Title: Marketing Manager – Content Marketing
Location: Nairobi
Nature of Job: Full time
Marketing Manager Responsibilities
Implement the content marketing strategy, coordinating with the HQ content marketing department and local team. Collect all the necessary content resources.
Work with the local team to adapt the original content resource into an executable highlights that can be adapt to different platform.
Apply the content marketing approach to influence and communicate with the target audience. Including but not limit to: print, radio, TV, digital media, below the line activities.
Be in charge of the editing of company’s newsletter on a monthly basis.
Regularly give feedback insights from the market to the specific channel or category and closely keep in contact with local management team and HQ content marketing team with the suggestions of strategycontent acquisition improvement.
Monitor trends in competitor’s content related information.
Monitoring the effectiveness of the content marketing tools and improve the investment to them from time to time.
Requirements for the Marketing Manager Kenyan Job:
Good problem analysis and problem solving skills
Flexibility with regard to work schedule
Strong project management or organizational skills
Strong ability of communication.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Kenya market.
Be familiar with the marketing communication tools.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
Good technical understanding and ready, fast learner
Creative and innovative
Excellent communication skills, especially the written form
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, major in Public relations, Marketing, Sales or any other related field
Previous work experience in similar capacity and industry is a MUST
