Roles
Carrying out measurements as required by the client, including aspects such as small and large-scale distances, angles and elevations
Undertaking surveys/measurements using a variety of specialist technical equipment (including theodolites, laser alignment devices, satellite positioning systems etc.)
Interpreting data using maps, charts and plans
Using computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information
Surveying and marking of airfield ground lighting installation points as per ICAO standards.
Surveying and mapping of trenches and ducts.
Calculation of (PAPI) precision approach path indicator lights elevation angles and guiding technicians in aligning the PAPIs.
Preparation of reports
Degree / diploma in Land Surveying / Geomatics or related degree/diploma.
3 years’ experience
Candidates must be numerate and technically competent, with excellent IT, problem solving and analytical skills.
The ability to analyze data and produce results with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
