Business Intelligence Manager Job Opportunities in Kenya

Our client is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Manager.

This role is based in Nairobi with frequent travel

Responsibilities

Consulting with internal customers to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights that accelerate profitable growth.

Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.

Wrangling data from multiple sources, Data preparation and Data warehousing

Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy

Lead the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement

Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and merchandising efforts around customer acquisition and conversion

Responsible for all operational, financial, human, and technical resource managerial responsibilities associated with BI-related functional areas

Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects

Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, including Business Objects

Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs

Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.

Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.

Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.

Pricing and strategy, Business Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting

Define and enforce policies around data governance to ensure consistency & integrity of all analytics and business intelligence
Minimum Requirements And Valuable Knowledge

Degree or Diploma in technical disciplines: Superior Engineering, Graduate Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering and Technology, etc. (Essential)

Experience managing complex BI projects and teams

Skilled in key data management concepts such as databases, data schemas, and ETL processes

Master Specific MBA: Marketing, Commerce, Accounting and Finance, etc. (Desirable)

Certifications: Cognos, Qlik, Microstrategy, SAP BO, SAS, Tableau, Power Center and Data Management. (Desirable)

Project management, PMBOK, PRINCE2, SCRUM (Desirable)

Methodology Data Quality (Desirable)

Knowledge of Government models BI and Data Governance (Desirable)

Other Tools ETL as a developer (Desirable)

Specific tools for Back End,, PL / SQL Developer, (Desirable)
