Call for Proposals
The Kenya Semi-Arid Livestock Enhancement Support (K-SALES) Project is a US$ 14.5 million Food for Progress initiative funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and implemented by Land O’ Lakes International Development.
Scheduled to run from September 2013 to September 2016, this three-year project is working to improve the competitiveness of the meat value chain to increase productivity and boost marketing and trade.
The areas of operations are in the Feed the Future Semi-Arid 2 Counties of Kenya namely Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and Taita Taveta.
The project’s strategic objectives are:
- Objective 1: Increasing agricultural productivity
- Objective 2: Expanded Trade of Agricultural Products
Land O’Lakes Kenya is therefore seeking proposals from qualified and highly experienced firms to conduct a Midterm Evaluation (MTE).
The purpose of the midterm evaluation is to critically and objectively review and analyze project’s progress to date in order to generate concise and actionable recommendations.
