Vacancy: Relationship Manager – Card Business
 



Job Type: Full time

Location: Nairobi


Reports To: Director – Business Dev.


Overall Supervision: Business Development


Key Relationships:


Senior Manager – Card – Liaison


Direct Reports to this Position: None


Company Description: Leading medium-sized commercial bank that caters to both individuals and corporate clients.



 
Job Purpose: Responsible for growth and turnaround of Card Business. Marketing the bank’s Visa Gold Golf Card.


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience required for this Role


  • Graduate

  • At least 3 years similar experience in a Banking Environment.


Competencies required for this Role


  • Knowledge in card Business

  • Marketing

  • People skills

  • Must know how to play golf and have a network of people playing golf.


Additional qualities:


  • Computer literate – working knowledge of Microsoft office packages and banking information systems.

  • Professional – follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions

  • Time management – uses time efficiently. Meets productivity standards, works quickly and completes work in a timely manner.

  • Quality – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality

  • Problem solving – identifies and

    resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyses information

    to make decisions, supports and explains reasoning for decisions taken

  • Interpersonal skills – treats other with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

  • Fluent in English and Swahili.

    edits work before presenting it, presents numerical data effectively and

    is able to read and interpret written information.

  • Good understanding of banking operations
