Job Description
Our client a well – established Furniture and Ceramic Company is looking to fill the position of a Senior Marketing Manager.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished marketing leader who is dynamic, strategic, analytical, and creative with a strong focus on revenue.
He / she is expected to think of big ideas, consistently deliver big results and MUST have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow sales pipeline by creating, executing and leading the demand generation strategy.
Work with cross-functional groups to identify, develop, and implement marketing programs to educate clients and increase engagement.
Work with senior management to identify, engage, and cultivate partner relationships for brand, distribution, and integration opportunities.
Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility.
Own and build the Company brand story, content and messaging internally and externally through the website, social media, events and PR.
Drive testing plans to continually test, iterate, and improve effectiveness of all marketing channels.
Ensure messaging and visual brand guidelines are established and adhered to across all communications.
Forecast, measure, analyse and report on the impact of overall marketing activities.
Manage, motivate and provide direction to entire marketing department.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience marketing (with at least 8 years in a senior management-level role).
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Experience working with furniture or ceramic distributer companies is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Must have fundamental understanding of overall business model including role of marketing as it relates to client acquisition and client lifecycle.
Must have ability to analyse data – micro and macro – and drive short and midterm strategy including market/client segmentation.
Must have a track record of building, leading, motivating and managing high-performing marketing teams.
Demonstrated experience in all facets of marketing.
Ability to establish standards, analyse data and communicate marketing performance metrics to diverse audiences.
Oversight and detailed management of marketing budget.
Sharp visual eye for intelligent and effective design.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 500,000 /= (Approx. 5,000 USD)
