Our client, who deals in innovative electronics technology and provides a wide variety of products, systems, and services, ranging from consumer electronics products to industrial devices, building products, and housing,  is seeking to recruit a Marketing Executive who will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Electrical Construction Materials (ECM) core products across East Africa. 

The ideal candidate should be a Kenyan national of Indian ethnicity who is fluent in Swahili language
 

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• To market and develop scope for ECM products in Kenya for ECM core products  ( Wiring devices/Conduit pipe/Breaker ) and PES fan category


• Market research/ demand forecasting/ demand management


• Consultant/ contractor’s relationship management


• To handle customer enquiries and handle new sales leads


• Demand forecasting/ project channel development/ product proposals


• Product presentation to customers, contractors, engineers and consultants


• Business planning


• Promotion and marketing planning

Knowledge and Experience requirement:

• Product knowledge in Electrical Construction Materials


• General knowledge of ECM market and Air Moving solutions business


• Forecasting and planning skills


• Language skills for English ( Swahili is a Must)


• Engineering/Marketing Specialist/Technical Sales


• Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite


• Strong marketing skills


• Presentation skills


• Negotiation skills


• Should be open to short term travel in the Middle East and Africa
