Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for the overall performance and activities of the branch and participates in making decisions.
2)Ensure effective control environment with focus on compliance of Prudential and other regulatory instructions with no procedural slippages
3)Making sure targets are met, coaching and developing staff, keeping the office to a high standard of discipline and integrity and dealing with customer complaints.
4) Review and analyze performance information and reports, which are then given and shared with Community empowerment officers(loan officers)
5) Spearhead Promotion of Rafode products and services in the branch
6) Monitoring of disbursed loans – Delinquency management
7) Assuring long term relationship through high client satisfaction, reaching a high ration of revolving clients – Customer care
8) Maintaining quality portfolio in the branch by ensuring recruitment of viable Entrepreneurs.
9) Carrying out proper vetting and assessment of loans application for credit committee approvals.
10) Identify loans for recovery and coordinate recovery efforts within the branch
11) Initiate and maintain good relationship between Rafode and local stakeholders including provincial administration, church etc
12) Performing other duties as may be deemed necessary by the management.
13) Grow the portfolio for the branch to a minimum of 20,000,000 with par as low as 2% and manage individual loans
Desired qualifications and experience
• Degree holder in relevant field
• At least two years of experience in a managerial post in a micro finance institution or bank
• Diploma holders with at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial post in a microfinance institution will be considered
