National Sales Manager
Location: Tanzania – Dar es Salaam

Our client in the motor engineering industry seeking to recruit a National Sales Manager.
Job Purpose
- Overall in charge of functioning the sales department (commercial vehicles).
- To meet and exceed pre-determined sales targets whilst adhering to a disciplined sales process.
- Ensuring that customers receive and experience in line with Principal expectations that follows DML’s route to sale.
- Communicate and quote all relevant and available products and services. Using tools provided to accurately capture data.
- Maintain a professional image at all times and take responsibility for company’s premises and products.
- Ensure effective time management of sales staff with emphasis on follow up activity.
- Facilitate sales process and general activity. Database management, IT savvy, Debtor control, CRM, Solution provider, Aged stock control.
Role and Responsibility
Vehicle Sales (Target Achievement)
- To deliver vehicles to the local market following a sales process and using data capture to ensure that customer individual requirements are catered for. Achieve agreed monthly/quarterly target.
Customer Handling (Customer Satisfaction / CRM)
- To ensure that customer receives a faultless experience when making contact or visiting the showroom.
- Ensure customers are made aware of all products and services. Make regular contacts with key customers.
Administration (Adherence to sales procedures)
- Ensure sales procedures are followed diligently (example ADP)
- Ensure all process and SOP’s of organizations are met
Commercial Awareness (MIS)
- Profitability, debtor management, stock management, GP
Prospecting (Prospect activity)
- Evaluate and identify potential customers.
- Visit, contact and build relationships with key external companies and key prospective customers with emphasis on follow up and communication of all offers and products available.
Functional Competencies / Skills Required
- 11 + years of experience preferably in Automobile, Transport Engineering industry
- Experience dealing with customers in a retail environment (Commercial vehicles).
- International exposure is must- Mainly African continent
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Candidates worked in Mitsubishi Fuso, Photon will be preferred.
