International Sales Director – Mobile Solutions
Our client, a leading Profit Social Enterprise dealing with mobile solutions to connect to smallholder farmers in Africa is looking for an International Sales Director.
He / she will be responsible for defining the strategy, managing sales operations and segmenting the market.
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and execute international sales strategy and plan.
- Manage sales teams across Africa and lead sales operations.
- Use client inputs to shape product strategy and rollout.
- Understand and segment the key sectors and targets.
- Identify and sell the company’s key products and services.
- Design innovative solutions and projects to deploy.
- Establish targets and effective sales process.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Implement sales tracking/CRM software solution.
- Collaborate with teams to create effective sales events.
- Network with existing customers for upselling and product ideas.
- Respond to tender documents and requests for proposal.
- Attend international development conferences on mAgri.
- Work closely with senior management on overall corporate strategy.
Qualifications;
- Must have 10 years sales experience in a senior sales position engaging in consultative sales.
- Must have an MBA from a recognized international university.
- Must have start-up or social enterprise experience.
- Must have extensive experience across Africa and other regions.
- Must have a background in agriculture or agribusiness.
- Born Networker and sales strategist.
- Ability to speak French is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Strong analytical skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 800,000 – 950,000/= (Approx. 8,000 – 9,500 USD) depending on experience
