Silverstone Tyres (K) Limited, the leading company in the automotive field based in Nairobi, seeks to recruit a Human Resources Officer who will be based in Nairobi Office.
The Position will be reporting to the General Manager.
1. Managing employment records and compliance to regulatory concerns
- Issuing and renewing of employment contracts
- Contract management and HR Compliance.
- Manage employee personal profiles to ensure proper management of database to be retained with the department of HR and Administration
- Processing various employee letters and communications
- Participating in OSHA 2007
- Managing pension, Medical and Wiba
- In charge of data input and management for all employee records
2. Provide support to managers, supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff
- Provide assistance in writing JDs
- Conducting staff performance evaluation and end of contract appraisal
- Organize staff training sessions internally and externally
- Conduct annual staff satisfactory survey
3. Monitor staff performance and attendance
- Manage staff attendance.
- In charge of Leave management and planning
- Provide assistance in implementing performance management
4. Co-ordinate staff recruitment
- Organize the whole recruitment process-preparing adverts/notices for job, scheduling and organizing interviews
- Participating in interviews
- Ensure proper staff orientation schedules and follow ups
- Conduct Exit interview of departing Employees and also perform Job hand over and take over responsibility
5. Payroll Management
- Compiling of payroll inputs on a monthly basis.
Academic Qualifications & Experience
- Higher Diploma or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration Management.
- Relevant Experience of At least 3 years

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and customers
