Our client, an International 5 star hotel chain in Nairobi, is looking for an Outlet Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible to supervise the restaurant as an independently profitable unit, sets performance standards for guest service, and oversees guests dining experience in the rooms.
He/She MUST be organized with strong planning, good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a 5 star property is ESSENTIAL.
Outlet Manager Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all operating standards in the assigned outlet comply with company policies
- Establish guest service standards that meet the needs of the target market
- Monitor and analyse menus and products of competitive restaurants
- Assist with inventory check of operating equipment
- Handle guest complaints and follow up with corrective action
- Maintain all necessary log-books as implemented in outlet
- Assist the F&B Cost Controller in Conducting month-end inventory
- Oversee and monitor the requisition point and par stock level for beverage supplies, food supplies, guest supplies and bar supplies in the outlet
- Check and ensure the timely submission of the Daily bar inventory and par report, against restaurant or bar sales report at the end of each shift
- Prepare annual operating budget for assigned outlet in conjunction with F&B Director
- Select, recruit, train and evaluate employees in his/her assigned outlet
- Prepare effective duty roster
- Coach and counsel restaurant staffs effectively
- Conduct daily briefing and de-briefing for a function assigned
Qualifications for the Outlet Manager Job
- Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Hotel Management or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 3 years in F&B experience in a high end outlet
- Good knowledge in the Food & Beverage products and high-end service levels
- Have excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken
- Computer literate
