Job Purpose:

Westmill concrete and Construction Company seek to hire a highly qualified and efficient Production Supervisor for precast concrete products who will be tasked with Supervision of day to day production of precast products, and ensure proper utilization of resources through monitoring of processes for maximum quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure steady flow of production of precast product activities to produce the right product of the right quality at the right time


• Efficient shift planning and communication to all production staff


• Analyzing raw data generated by production teams and generating Accurate and timely Reports as appropriate.


• Ensuring set production of precast products targets are communicated to all staff and achieved.


• Ensure Optimal Equipment utilization and plant efficiencies of above 90%.


• Carry out stock/ usage reconciliations at the end of your shift.


• Ensure all company policies & Procedures are adhered to.


• Achieving agreed production Key Performance Indicators in terms of quality, safety, quantity, cost, timeliness and people morale


• Ensure housekeeping on the floor, machines & surrounding area


• Reporting and coordinating with the maintenance team in case of major break down.


• First level handling of sectional workers discipline and reporting the same.


• Participating in brainstorming and root cause analysis to bring solutions to problems and/or innovation in the work area.


• Assisting operators in trouble shooting and autonomous maintenance.


• Receiving raw materials and ensuring efficient utilization of the same by accounting for the same at the end of shift.

Requirements

• Diploma in related field


• 5 years’ experience working as a production supervisor for precast concrete products


• Great in managing people


• Time management


• A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others


• Confident, rounded thinking, resilient, optimistic and open to change


• Has an Adult collaborative approach to others
