Climate Change Officers, JG “K” – 4 Positions

Duties and
Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support on Climate Change Programme


• Assist in coordination of climate change programmes and
  projects in different sectors of the county.


• Carryout education on programs and projects on climate change
  in the county


• Provide technical assistance on climate change programmes and
  projects in the county


• Promote public participatory and awareness creation on
  climate change programmes and projects.
  
  
  


• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the
  supervisor

Requirements for
appointment

• For appointment to this grade a candidate must:


• Be a Kenyan citizen


• Have Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: –
  Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management or equivalent
  qualification from a recognized institution;


• Have Certificate in computer application skills.


• Membership to Environmental Institute of Kenya or relevant
  professional body will be an added advantage.


• Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
