Job Title: Intern - Human Resource Department
Reports to: HR & Administration Manager
Job Purpose: Under the supervision of the Human Resource and Administration Manager, the HR Intern will assist the HR team with day-to-day operations of the human resource department.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintaining all general filesHandle all administrative tasks for insurance covers for staffPreparing weekly and monthly staff returnsUpdating of orientation pack Assist in the recruitment process i.e. assisting with compiling a summary of the shortlisted candidates, arranging interviews, interview feedback e.t.c Organising for registration of new staff and staff IDsOrganising pre-employment medical examinationsPreparing all payment requests for utilities and servicesEnsuring stationery store is adequately stocked at all timesInformation management & archiving/filing for HR related issuesHR administration, social contributions and staff leave follow upDegree in Human Resource Management or other relevant degree, with a Diploma in HR ManagementOne year working experienceGood computer skills in MS OfficeGood written and oral communication skills Attention to detailFlexibilityHigh level of confidentialityAbility to meet deadlines This job description is not exhaustive and may be revised by the line manager from time to time.Interested candidates, who meet the above requirements, should apply by sending a CV and a covering letter addressed to: -
