We are seeking competent individuals to immediately fill in the positions of Assistant Manager - Grants and Compliance (ACT-AMGC-12-2023) and Senior Grants Officer (ACT-SGO-13-2023).
ASSISTANT MANAGER, GRANTS & COMPLIANCE (REF: ACT/AGMC/12/2023):
The Assistant Manager-Grants & Compliance will be based in Nairobi and will contribute to ensuring the proper functioning and effectiveness of the entire grants and compliance sub-unit within the finance and operations unit. This will include monitoring the entire grants management process from solicitation through closeout and ensuring proper compliance with all donor regulations. He/she will play a leadership role in supporting Act! and its partners in achieving rigorous financial and grants reporting and management. The incumbent will be part of a highly efficient team that ensures that the tools and materials Act! uses to deliver effective grants management support to downstream partners are of the highest standards.
SENIOR GRANTS & COMPLIANCE OFFICER (REF: ACT/SGO/13/2023):
Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Grants and Compliance, the Senior Grants and Compliance Officer is based in Nairobi at the Act! head office with frequent travels to partner locations across Kenya and Act! branch offices. S/He will support the Assistant Manager – Grants and Compliance to ensure proper maintenance and functioning of the grants management system and compliance with all applicable internal policies and procedures.
