Assistant Senior Driver

Job Specification: 

Driver is
responsible for transporting authorized officers from one place to the
preferred destination.



Duties and
Responsibilities 

The Assistant Senior
Driver is responsible for: –

• Driving a motor vehicle as authorized 


• Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems 


• Maintaining work tickets for vehicles assigned 


• Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the
  road 


• Ensuring safety of the passengers and Academy’s property
  therein 


• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

Person Specification: 

For appointment to this
grade, a Candidate must have the following: –

• Minimum KCSE Grade D ‘plain’


• Five (5) years driving experience 


• Valid driving license (Class D)


• Proficiency in computer applications will be an added
  advantage 


• Valid police clearance


• First Aid Certificate 


• Passed Practical test for Drivers conducted by Automobile
  Association, NTSA, NYS or KIBHT

Authority, Ethics and Anti- Corruption, a registered Credit Reference Bureau,
Higher Education Loans Board and a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate
of Criminal Investigations before commencement of the employment contract.
