Reporting to: Sales Executive

Salary: – 30,000 – 50,000 negotiable depending on experience


 


Duties & Responsibilities


Setting dispatch targets in consultation with seniors and devising ways of achieving them.

Manage a dispatch team

Ensure goods are prepared as per delivery list in advance before loading onto vehicles

Ensure goods are accurately confirmed before and during loading so that errors of excess and less deliveries are eliminated.

Ensure goods are dispatched as per delivery list and meet delivery targets

Ensuring achievement of dispatch targets.

Coordinating with sales and stores to ensure fast and efficient deliveries

Reporting of section performance

Should instill discipline to all the staff under you and be able to submit the Performance appraisals for all staff that you supervise.

Be responsible for the section/department including the assets therein


The successful candidate must have the following Key skills and Qualifications or its equivalent 


Proficiency in Excel and word

Should have at least a diploma in the relevant field and above.

Previous experience in  areas Dispatch is preferred

A  background in ERP

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Able to produce daily reports

Report to work early

High integrity and trustworthy person  to handle confidential data

Should  have  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both numerical skills

Should have at least  5years experience

Should be mature enough  aged between 35 years and above

International Business and Technical Consultants Incorporated (IBTCI) is seeking a Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Manager. He or she will be responsible for a number of activities to ensure that the USAID/EA/Somalia Office is aware of 1) the strengths and weakness of data collected by the Office from its implementing partners; and 2) the extent to which the data can be trusted to influence management decisions. This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and the period of performance will be about eight weeks approximately June-August 2015, and may be divided into two separate trips.


The Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Manager must:


· Review documentation, including past DQAs, USAID/Somalia Performance Management Plan, and Implementing Partner (IP) Monitoring & Evaluation Plans; develop materials for training USAID staff and a tool / questionnaire that can be used during visits to the IP and activity sites; identify possible locations for site visits and develop a schedule in collaboration with USAID staff.


· Train the relevant staff of USAID and its relevant implementing partners using a mix of teaching techniques such as lectures, discussions and practice exercises to ensure that trainees are able to internalize information provided and apply their learning.


· Meet with each DQA team to ensure that the relevant USAID staff are ready to lead the DQA. This may include a review of each indicator to identify information that is known and the information that needs to be collected or clarified, a practice interview, and a clarification of roles and responsibilities.


· Provide support and oversight to ensure that all necessary information is collected during meetings with partners and site visits; travel to the site on his/her own and report findings to the other members of the relevant DQA team.


· Meet with DQA team members to review each indicator against the quality standards and complete a DQA checklist; based on this review, work with the DQA teams to identify recommendations to address any emerging data quality issues.


· Be responsible for submitting a detailed DQA report to USAID, based on discussions with the DQA team members.


The Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Manager must have the following qualifications:


· Extensive experience in conducting DQAs;


· Proven ability to develop training materials and conduct training sessions using these materials;


· Willingness and ability to travel to Somalia;


· Understanding of USAID performance management standards and guidelines; and


· Fluency in spoken and written English.

As the holder of the Somalia Program Support Services (SPSS) contract, IBTCI will be conducting an evaluation of an economic growth program in Somalia.


This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya with travel to Somalia, and is full-time, tentatively beginning in June 2015.


The Team Leader shall be responsible for the following activities:


· Organization of training sessions for interviewers according to SPSS requirements


· Development of quality control procedures, data entry manuals and codebooks


· Design of protocols and supporting processes


· Development of pre-test and pilot test plans


· Development of survey related documentation


· Oversight of pilot-testing


· Provide primary control oversight of survey data collection


· Follow international standard quality control standards and quality assurance procedures adopted by international research community


· Adhere to standard USAID requirements (disaggregation by sex, region, etc.)


· Produce a final report that covers all results


The Team Leader should meet minimum qualification requirements:


· Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in leading of multinational teams assigned to evaluate USAID funded projects in fragile environments (Somalia experience is a plus);


· Experience in evaluating international economic growth projects, especially in the field of agricultural value chains.


· Strong skills in obtaining feedback from stakeholders, facilitation of in-brief, mid-term and out-brief meetings and presenting progress;


· Experience in synthesizing findings and writing reports;


· Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English (Somali language is a plus)
