Founded in 2009, the Kernel Consulting plays a pivotal role in Research, Policy Analysis and Financial/Management Consultancy services, throughout the Horn of Africa region. The Kernel consulting is a research organization/entity, registered in Kenya.

We operate primarily in the Great Lakes region but are happy to assist clients elsewhere, internationally.

To support the Research division to meet its goals and objectives, we are seeking to recruit Data Analysts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform data analyses and interpretation from collected dataComplete project reports as per agreed schedules, for clientsEnsure research briefs for clients are in line with agreed standardsDrive Research Process with Research HousesAnalyze and interpret results to deliver business case needsMaintain brand knowledge baseCompile data for ad hoc requestsPrepare reports/presentations of research, consumer insights and conclusions in order to provide actionable recommendations to audienceManage the Research Budget Building Value Based Relationships Research Plan and DevelopmentManage Project Management ProcessWork in TeamsExceptional interpersonal, good communication, problem solving and decision making skills is a must;Should be proactive, confident and energetic with an ability to meet stringent deadlines.A degree in Applied Statistics, preferably from Maseno/Nairobi UniversityWorking knowledge of statistical packages e.g. SPSS, STATA, Advanced ExcelSome experience in a Research Agency/environmentIdeally a candidate who has experience in data manipulation and interpretationIf you feel that you are up to the challenge and posses the necessary qualification and experience please send your detailed CV and application letter indicating your experience and why you are the most suitable candidate for the role clearly quoting the job title to the address below (email applications preferred).
