Key roles and deliverables are as follows:-
Responsible for overseeing:-
Planning for production inputs.Sourcing and procurement of production inputs.Suppliers management.Preparation of importation documents.Management of clearing and forwarding agents.Inventory management.Logistics and distribution/delivery of products to customers.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and oratory skills.Good team working abilities.Energy and passion to work long hours.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field from a recognized UniversityBasic knowledge in AccountingRegistered KISM Member.Over 5 years experience in local and Overseas Sourcing and supply chain management in a busy environmentFamiliar with Instruments of relevant government legislations and requirements regulating and Governing imports.Experience in manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.If you believe you are the right candidate for this position and posses the right qualification, send your detailed C.V to hr@interconsumer.co.ke to reach us before close of business 30th October 2010
