Head of Finance Job in Kenya - Advertising Industry

Dynamic People Consulting is currently recruiting for the Head of Finance for one of its clients in the advertising industry.

Key Responsibilities:

The Head of Finance will be responsible for the following duties:

Prepares cash flow and balance sheet statements on a monthly basisConducts bank reconciliation on a monthly basisProduces monthly profit and loss statementKeeps track of company income by managing the organization’s financial accountsKeeps custody of company receipts and bank statementsWithdraws and deposits money and checks to the company accountMakes payment to suppliers in accordance to payment contractVerify cash requisitions from staff or suppliersVerifies cash requisitions from staff and suppliers with appropriate partiesGenerates delivery notes for ordersReceives quotations sent out by salesCommunicates credit terms to clientsReceives and checks list provided by the Credit Reference Bureau for clients’ statusContacts clients to collect debt owed to the companyManages daily stocksRecords new stock into the stock registerThe successful candidate should have the following qualification:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA(K)Masters degree a must5 years experience as an accountant3 years in senior managementGood Interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as a teamAttention to detail and a good sense of proceduresIT tools proficient in the processing of information and communicationMature with excellent interpersonal and communication skills,Ability to work independently and as a team to manage work-relate responsibilities,Attention to detail, reliable and with ability to achieve high Quality Standards,An efficient organizer,A great sense of initiative and creativity in carrying out assignments,Good analytical and writing skills,Honest, a pleasant personality and willingness to go an extra mileIf you believe you qualify for this position, please send you CV and details of your current and expected remuneration to recruitment@dpckenya.com
