The construction phase commenced in the 3rd quarter of 2011 in order for production to start in the 2nd half of 2013.

Executive Assistant

Reporting to the General Manager - Projects, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to senior project and operations managers.

Key Responsibility
Management of all administrative matters pertaining to the General Managers.Organisation and facilitation of meetings, conferences, presentations and functions.Taking minutes of meetings, preparation of letters, reports, presentations and other documents.Arranging diaries, travel plans and coordinating visit itineraries.Organizing and managing office logistics.Qualification & Experience
Minimum of diploma in secretarial and office management or equivalent. A further tertiary qualification will be an advantage.At least five years’ experience and a proven track record in a similar position in a large organisation.Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.Have excellent written English skills.Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Trainee Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Project Mechanical Engineer, the Trainee Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering discipline support to the project team and assist ¡n supervising construction activities.

He/she will receive on-the-job training with a view to progressing towards an operational role when construction is completed.

Key Responsibility
Providing technical support the project management team.Assisting with supervision of structural erection contractors.Assisting with construction quality control.Assisting in enforcing contractor compliance with health and safety procedures and standards.Qualification & Experience
• A degree in mechanical engineering.
. Up to 3 years’ experience in project engineering and
construction industries.
. Hold a valid certificate of registration from the Engineers
Registration Board of the Kenya.

Civil Engineer - Job Ref. MN 5127
Reporting to the Civil Construction Manager, the Civil Engineer
will provide engineering discipline support to the project team
and assist in supervising construction works. He/she will
receive on-the-job training with a view to progressing towards
an operational role when construction is completed.
Key Responsibility
. Providing technical support the project management team.
. Assisting with management of the civil construction
contracts.
• Assisting with supervision of civil contractors.
• Assisting in developing civil cost estimates
. Providing construction quality control
. Enforcing contractor compliance with health and safety
procedures and standards
Qualification & Experience
. A degree in Civil Engineering.
• Have 5 years’ experience in project civil engineering and
construction industries.
• Hold a valid certificate of registration from the Engineers
Registration Board of the Kenya.
