Position: Resource Mobilization Officer (RMO)
REF: - WSTF/3/1/RMO/2012
Location : Nairobi with frequent travel to the field
Purpose of the position : The Resource Mobilization Officer will mobilize adequate resources nationally and internationally to enhance access to water and sanitation in areas of Kenya without adequate services. He/ She will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the following:-
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Must have a Bachelors degree in development studiesMasters degree in relevant field will be an added advantageAt least five (5) years relevant experience in fund raisingExperience in interacting with different donors is an added advantageKnowledge in designing and structuring of public private partnershipsHave excellent fund raising and negotiation skillsKnowledge of water sector reforms is an added advantageHave a good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and internet servicesMust be able to project a positive and professional image of the FundMust be articulate and analyticalPosses excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2008 is an added advantageHow to Apply
