The position will provide technical guidance to the APHIAplus Western Kenya project’s technical and mentoring teams to support the mainstreaming of gender activities into the range of community interventions in the provinces, counties and districts in zone one.
Gender Officer will support the Senior Gender Advisor to ensure smooth operation of gender programs, by implementing and monitoring ongoing gender-related activities; monitor project activities.
The position will work in the APHIAplus Western Kenya project to ensure timely and accurate reporting on grants expenditures to both internal and external stakeholders. S/he will oversee the review of budgets with Community Based Organizations (CBOs), prepare sub-agreements for the CBOs and supervise the grants officers.
Based in Embu the position will be responsible for day to day processing of transactions to ensure timely financial processing and reporting of field activity costs.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor:
The M&E Advisor will provide strategic and technical leadership to the APHIAplus Zone 1 project.S/he will oversee the implementation of the project’s M and E activities and build capacity of the project stakeholders in Nyanza on HMIS and CBHIS. Ensure that reliable and high quality data is collected, analyzed and disseminated to all users including project staff.
6. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Associates:
They will assist with the management and application of an M & E plan for project, offer assistance to help build capacity of the project stakeholders on M&E and assist with the maintenance of project databases. This position will be based Western province.
