Context/Scope: The Company operates in the premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sector. EABL is an integrated Supply & Demand business with 4 key markets Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania, Uganda Breweries in Uganda, Kenya Breweries in Kenya and EABLi which is spread across the Great Lakes region inclusive of South Sudan. EABL also has a hub in Nairobi that supports the EA Maltings Business as well as Central Glass Industries. It is the largest Alcoholic Beverage Company in East Africa. This role will work with the HRBPs and different third party partners and to deliver the Talent agenda through the Reward Proposition.

Compensation & Benefits Administration: Assist HRBPs in tracking and managing total overhead budget (including those in COGS line) for the business area and the non-payroll related costs. Monitor the costs against business targets & budget


Serves as company contact with third party vendors providing benefits to employees.


Analyzes benefits experience for cost-control and risk-assessment factors.


Directs maintenance of employee benefits data in automated human resources information systems.


Governance & Compliance -


Completes data analysis for the preparation of local Reward Committee papers


Act as the compliance champion for Reward processes in the business


Ensures compliance of benefits administration with Legislation including KRA and Department of Labour regulations.Maintains knowledge of and analyses government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations.


Ensures timely completion and submission of required reports.


Provides information to consultants and auditors for testing and preparation of reports.


Qualification & Experience:


Expertise in financial/ statistical analysis and spreadsheet modelling. Detail orientation.


Knowledge of operational / Industry HR practice, Labour Laws and tax legislation in the operating environment.


Degree or CIPD qualification is highly desirable


Demonstrated ability to build and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in a corporate environment and ability to build credibility with all levels and all functions


Ability to use Reward to influence/drive business outcomes


Three to five years similar experience


Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced, high performing culture


Demonstrated ability to lead projects and positively manage change


Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, prioritise own workload and take ownership of problems.
