Members, County Alcoholic Drinks Board

This is not a full time engagement. It attracts a sitting allowance when a meeting is held.
Functions of the Board Members
Issuing licenses for manufacture, importation and distribution of Alcoholic Drinks in the County
Reviewing on appeal, decisions made by a Sub-county
Alcoholic Drinks Regulation Committee
Requirements
Holder of a KCSE Certificate for not less than 12 years.
A post-secondary training is mandatory
A certificate of good standing.
Resident in Murang’a
A person shall NOT be a member of this Board if he/she is
A holder of a Licence under this Act or any other similar Act in Kenya;
A partner in a firm or director or shareholder of a company or other body which is the holder of a licence under the Act or any similar Act in Kenya.
Directly or indirectly employed as an agent of a person, firm or company which is the holder of a licence under the Act or any similar Act in Kenya.
Undischarged bankrupt;
A person who has been convicted of an offence under this Act or any other similar Act in Kenya of a felony
