Job description: Duma Works is recruiting a Chief Operating Officer for one of our clients. The company seeks an intelligent and entrepreneurial individual to play a critical role in an innovative new startup.

The Chief Operating Officer will be a leading member of the management team whose duties will include:

Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategy

Oversee importation and delivery of goods

Develop and execute marketing plan

Lead customer service

Interface with Government of Kenya on key policies impacting the business

Contribute to capital raising efforts

Manage local staff and partnerships
Chief Operating Officer Job Qualifications

A university degree, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to lead and to execute are minimal qualifications.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include equity.
