Job Vacancy: Business Analyst

Location: Nairobi

Job Type: Full time

Job Description:

• Analysis of data via excel, database queries & we analytics.


• Presentation of this data to the CEO and the senior team with your recommendation so they ca make better decision.


• Put together dashboards that will be used by the whole company.


• Do data analysis in google analytics to determine which marketing campaigns are working.


• Do funnel analysis to determine where the users are dropping off from the site.


• Compare the companies performance vs the competitors using public data online.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years working experience as a business analyst or product analyst.


• Strong grasp of excel.


• Basic statistics knowledge.


• Strong presentation and reporting writing skills.


• Finance skills -conversant with return on investment.


• Start up mindset.


• Can work with minimum supervision.


• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web design skills.


• Basic understanding of programming languages( PHP most preffered)


• Understanding of modern web development frameworks.


• Grasp of statistical tools such as MATLAB, R or STATA.


• Prior experience with google analytics.


• Degree in Mathematics or Computer science or Finance.


• Knowledge of Nairobi property market.


• Prior knowledge of Tableau or other data presentation tools.
