Finance Manager – Kigali, Rwanda

Our client, located in Kigali Rwanda is engaged in the Manufacture of Steel Products that include roofing sheets, mild steel plates, hollow sections, steel wires, and other products. 

The company would like to implement an ERP system and is thus recruiting a Finance manager with a background of 5 years’ experience in a steel manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and implement finance and accounting policies of the company.


• Budgeting and monitoring performance against the budget on a daily basis.


• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis.


• Implement accounting controls, working with auditors to ensure that the company’s assets are safe guarded.


• Set up the enterprise resource planning system.


• Financial statement preparation and reporting responsibilities.


• Treasury and cash management.


• Cost management and controls.


• Implementing strategic plan actions and overseeing change.


• Managing relationships with banks and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Degree in accounting (or Finance).


• Must be CPA (K) /ACCA qualified.


• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ operating in a steel manufacturing business.


• Should have been involved in financial systems and software implementation.


• Understanding of the operations of a steel manufacturing business will be an advantage.


• Must have experience in cost management and control.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 225,000 /= (Approx. 2,500 USD)depending on experience
