Reporting to Chief Officer – Public Service Management and ICT
 

Job Description

Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions

Implementation of advisory committee decisions as regards appointments, promotions and discipline.

Ensuring compliance with public service values and principles in the county.

Carry out staff audits, identifying gaps and proposing optimal staffing level in the county

Preparing the budget for the HRM function

Ensuring correct interpretation of human resource policies, rules, regulations, labor laws and other relevant statutes

Establishing performance management systems and organizing for transfer of all human resource records from both national and county agencies

Preparation of human resource transition reports and

Performing any other duties as assigned

Requirements for appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen

Have a Bachelors degree in any of the following: Commerce (Human Resource Management Option), Social Sciences with a diploma in HR or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Be a member of the relevant professional body (IHRM).

Have relevant working experience of not less than 10 years.

Masters Degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.

Be computer literate.
