Job Description
Position Title: Production Manager
We are a start-up recycling company incorporated in Kenya, with management and directors originating from Switzerland.
The company began operations in January 2015 and is now looking for a motivated and skilled Production Manager that understands importance of functioning value chains.
The value chain involves sourcing, processing and exporting plastic waste.Qualifications:
BSc mechanical engineering (Production and/or Structural).
Computer Literate.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a very busy production industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for entire operation of plant and management of the production department.
Carry out technical and physical operations of the plant as per stipulated procedures.
Ensuring product or process parameters are maintained and also carrying out autonomous maintenance work.
Controlling of utility/raw materials cost reduction
Ensuring efficient running of the plant with minimal utilities consumption.
Ensure quality and high production and low waste generation.
Filling in production log sheets.
Carry out other duties as per the department’s prevailing ISO-
QSP’s, OHS and safety management requirements.
Salary: Negotiable
