Dear Sir/ Madam,
RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF UN VOLUNTEER
Drawing my inspiration from the belief that volunteerism is a powerful way of engaging people in tackling development challenges, I hereby wish to express my interest in the volunteer programme you currently have.
As a recent graduate in Project Management, I have acquired technical expertise during my internships with ABC International NGO. I was tasked with the duties of helping the project coordinator run all projects smoothly as well as contract drafting.
I also gained valuable experience in project and resource management more so on volunteer management. Apart from that, I have amassed skills in data collection and my communication and networking skills are impeccable which is evident in the newsletter samples I have attached to my application.
I believe I can contribute my time, skills and knowledge through volunteer action to create a significant force in achieving peace and development.
Enclosed herewith is a copy of my CV for your consideration. I can be contacted through 0799-999999
Yours Faithfully,
John Kimani the Jobseeker.
