Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Salary: KShs 20K – 40K
Our client is a heavy commercial vehicle transport Company with branches across East Africa; they specialize in heavy cargo movement.
They seek to hire an articulate accounts assistant to offer support to the accounts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts.
- Prepare and verify daily reports
- Basic book keeping
- Handle petty cash expenses and reimbursements
- Manage Driver allowances, inputting sheet and submitting to bank for payment
- Petty cash reconciliations on vehicles to appropriate programs for record keeping
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
- Handling bank reconciliations
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum CPA 2 section IV, degree will be an added advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in similar role
- Basic understanding of accountancy or book keeping skills
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speedy action and proactive
- Ability to work independently
