Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Salary: KShs 20K – 40K

Our client is a heavy commercial vehicle transport Company with branches across East Africa; they specialize in heavy cargo movement. 

They seek to hire an articulate accounts assistant to offer support to the accounts department.Key Responsibilities

Preparing statutory accounts.

Prepare and verify daily reports

Basic book keeping

Handle petty cash expenses and reimbursements

Manage Driver allowances, inputting sheet and submitting to bank for payment

Petty cash reconciliations on vehicles to appropriate programs for record keeping

Controlling credit and chasing debt.

Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment

Handling bank reconciliations

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum CPA 2 section IV, degree will be an added advantage

At least 2 years of experience in similar role

Basic understanding of accountancy or book keeping skills

Computer literate

Excellent communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Speedy action and proactive

Ability to work independently
