Our client, a leading Global Company diversified in the building and automotive industries is looking for a Facilities Manager to be based in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the facilities are operated and maintained.
- Ensure facilities are cost-effective and maintained in safe condition.
- Interfaces with the customer’s management regarding contract and customer strategies.
- Review and approve all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies and materials.
- Assist with preparation of facility budget.
- Manage, direct and schedule day-to-day activities for assigned properties.
- Ensure that all programs and procedures of the FM staff are implemented.
- Manages contractor specifications, problems, performance and administration.
- Provides the technical and management direction for all FM services.
- Must have knowledge of mechanical and electrical uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
- Knowledge of direct digital control (DDC) systems will be an added advantage.
- Must have bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Must have operational experience in a large FMCG factory environment.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 350,000 – 500,000/= (Approx. 3,888 – 5,555 USD) depending on experience
