Our strategy is to participate in the entire development process; beginning with conceptualization, land acquisition, supporting development, raising project finance, moving on to construction management & infrastructure development, sales/marketing and finally to property/facilities management processes.Job Summary: The project manager will be responsible for managing and driving major construction projects. He/she should be good at managing on site activities as well as preparing reports to the head office.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing contractor safety programs on construction projects. Works with Environmental Manager and Safety Manager to ensure environmental compliance conforms to safety regulations during design and build phases.
Review assigned projects to establish critical path milestones, action plans, and schedules.
Full responsibility for managing multiple simultaneous projects in multiple locations at various stages of conception, design and build.
Hands-on, onsite management of general construction and supervision of hired contractors required to complete project activities.
Participate in the multi-year strategic planning process for construction projects. Suggests schedules, budgets and scopes changes to proposed major projects to remove constraints and increase the likelihood of on-time and on-budget completion.
Confirm the accuracy of and the scope of new work.
Provides presentations as well as comprehensive written project status reports to project stakeholders, sponsors and senior management.
Monitor contractor performance; insure adherence to terms and conditions of agreements.
Performs other responsibilities as assigned or directed.

Job Specifications
Knowledge of project management principles
Proficiency in Microsoft projects
Flexibility in working across multiple sites, some of which may be in remote locations.
Experience
2 to 3 years construction project management experience.
A membership to a professional association would be an added advantage.
Education
University Degree in a related subject.
PRINCE 2 or other professional qualification would be an added advantage.
