The company is in the market to uphold and set new safety standards by providing safety equipment that adheres to the relevant EN (European Norm) standards and are CE (conformite Europeenne) certified.
Position Title: Sales Account Manager – Hand Protection Solution
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Regional Manager, East Africa
Job Purpose: Ensure that the company maximizes its growth in sales in its hand protection solution division to the greatest possible extent and maintain relationships with clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maximize sales volume and increase market penetration via existing and new clients within the assigned territory.
- Formulate clear sales plan on a monthly basis within the assigned territory.
- Implement specific promotional programs as developed by the company.
- Assess competitors’ activity and give feedback on market intelligence to Regional Manager.
- Responsible for the day-to-day Account Management of several existing clients.
- Build effective relationship – become a trusted partner with the client.
- Work with senior executives to ensure their appropriate continuous involvement in key accounts.
- Ensure products and services are being delivered at the level of service required.
- Manage contract renewals and price changes when appropriate.
- Carry out other special assignments under the directions of the Regional Manager
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Sales & Marketing or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience; Knowledge in PPE industry is an asset
- A very strong hunter
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong business acumen
- Sales Ability and Persuasiveness
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Team Player – but able to work independently
- Performance and results driven
