NGO Accountant Job in Kenya

The regional office of an

international NGO is looking for an experienced Accountant.
 

Responsibilities: The Accountant is responsible for all accounting

functions of the organization in East and Southern Africa, including but not

limited to general ledger management, accounts reconciliation, cash receipts

processing, payroll, accruals and monthly account cycle closing.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in accounting;
  
  certification (CPA / CA) preferred;


• Minimum five years relevant experience;
  
  knowledge of fund accounting;


• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office,
  
  Navision / Navigator experience a plus);


• Previous experience with donor compliance and
  
  reporting is desired, specifically working with USAID funded projects and
  
  a general understanding of USAID rules and regulations.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
