We are always on the look out for, and interested in hearing from, experienced, fully qualified accountants with a proven track record of responsibility for month and year-end procedures, and production of management and statutory accounts.

 

Leadership: The successful candidates will be expected to take on a leadership role in mentoring and developing junior, less experienced members of their team(s).

Experience
Hands on basic and advanced level bookkeeping experience will be a pre-requisite.

Existing clients use SAP Business ByDesign as their ERP.  Experience with this or similar scale ERP, preferably cloud based, would be advantageous.

Smaller clients use QuickBooks Online, and experience with this system might also be advantageous.

You may be responsible for consolidation of management and statutory accounts and some experience in this area will be beneficial.

Records may be incomplete and require a degree of interpretation and understanding, and the successful candidate(s) will have experience of dealing with such scenarios and the communication skills to handle any enquiries with professionalism.

Education and Qualifications

You will be a fully qualified accountant.  Whilst an international qualification is desirable, a local qualification combined with the right work experience will not be ruled out.

You are also likely to have an undergraduate or post graduate degree, although the right professional qualification and experience could overrule that as well.

Work place maturity

The successful candidate(s) will be managed online from offices outside the country you are based in, with occasional management visits to the offshore office as needed.  

Therefore excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team with minimum supervision are fundamental requirements of the role.
