Controls & Compliance Lead Job, Supply Chain Kenyan Vacancies,
Purpose of the Role:
- This role is to work with the Service Performance Manager, other CoE team members and in-market teams to contribute to overall performance improvement process by generating insights and improvement ideas.
- The role holder will provide data analysis and input to the SPM to the performance plan and maximize value for Diageo.
- The will actively track, monitor and provide data to enable Service Performance Management to ensure value through cost reduction and improved service and quality performance
- The role holder will work with a complex range of in market stakeholders (MD, Supply, Finance, Compliance and Commercial), in market warehousing teams as well as the central Operational Excellence and the CoE team.
- He/she will need to interact across cultures & have strong influence/impact within businesses
- He/she will also need to engage and partner with key Diageo Supply Partners (3PL’s, GDBS, resourcing partners etc.) as well as other external suppliers.
Entry Level Requirements – Capabilities, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in data analysis or planning focused roles
- Experience of navigating complex business structures
- High level of Data analysis and management skills
- Track record of generating insight to influence decision making
- Thorough systems knowledge in areas such as SAP, PRDM, Microsoft office, E-collaborate
- Numerate and ability to apply KPI’s to drive performance management at all levels with CoE teams and suppliers
- Knowledge of end to end supply chain and customer collaboration
- High degree of interpersonal skills
- Good Team working ethics
Key Accountabilities:
Drive insights through data analysis and translate these into improvement opportunities Provide detailed monthly KPI data, including reconciliation to category team tracking projects, savings, supplier performance etc. Maintaining all relevant data on systems and off line databases Provide administration support on key supplier projects Liaising with Supply sites for resolution of escalated issues

- Upholds Standards – The role holder will be expected to embrace the EISC Standards, apply them effectively in their role and adhere to them at all times.
- Performance Management – The role holder will understand the importance of tiered performance management, identifying critical KPIs and required practices on a shift, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis with the ability to bring suppliers on the same journey.
- Continuous Improvement – the role holder will be expected to be flexible and embrace change, continually looking for ways to improve everything they do. They will use various continuous improvement tools and techniques to solve problems.
