Logistics Data Analyst at Kilimall

Kilimall is Kenya’s largest online shopping mall. It was launched in July 2014 with the mission of becoming No.1 E-commerce platform in Africa, and has sites strategically distributed in the three countries namely: Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria. Kilimall serves a retail-customer base that continues to grow exponentially, offering products that span various categories designed to ensure optimum levels of convenience and customer satisfaction with the retail process; order delivery-tracking, dedicated customer service support and many other premium services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Daily follow up and management of orders dispatched out of the warehouse.


2. Maintain a close working relationship with the courier partners & customer service for order tracking & solve delayed orders.


3. Timely Courier Monthly computation and confirmation of deliveries


4. Proper confirmation using the DMS and KiliExpress to check the data.


5. Raising company claims against courier partners and DS agents.


6. Precise follow up & weekly update on orders lost or damaged while in transit by couriers and DS agents.


7. On Time Courier delivery and reverse logistics. Monitor and track the data for the dispatched shipments to courier which are in transit to the KiliShop.


8. Confirm on the daily data, ensuring that orders are not pending in transit after the given timeline.


9. Follow up on all courier abnormal orders on the system and on the Qing flow sheet. 24hrs follow up on the Qing flow on the logistics Kilishop delivery queries. Respond to the issues accordingly


10. Investigate on the courier pending orders by the end of every month and ensure that orders are not pending.


11. Foster healthy Industrial Relations with courier partners and collection points.


12. Developing integrated logistics solutions and services to Kilimall customers in terms of delivery efficiency, Shipping costs and headcount cost control.


13. Monitoring and reviewing daily, weekly and Monthly courier delivery rates.


14. Developing integrated customer service solutions in terms of delivery efficiency.


15. Be ready to complete any other task assigned by the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Manager.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Mathematics or Computer Science, or any other related course


• Skilled in large data analysis. Detail oriented and skilled in large data analysis and use of excel formulas.


• Proficiency in Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, OpenOffice, PowerPoint).


• Preferably candidates with working experience in a courier and logistics company.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
