Position Summary

The Microbiology Analyst will be responsible for Microbial Analysis of raw materials, finished goods, semifinished goods and Environmental Samples by following the laboratory procedures.
A day in the life of…
Microbiology Analyst:
- Make sure that the workplace is safe, clean, and maintained in accordance the requirements of Good Laboratory Practices.
- Ensure timely analysis of samples within the stipulated time.
- Ensure that the analysis methods used in analysis is as stipulated in the laboratory instruction.
- Ascertain adequate documentation and calculation of results before reporting as per laboratory instruction.
- Participation in root cause analysis for any out of specification result related to Analysis.
- Participation in the Nestlé Proficiency tests as part of performance improvement.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
What Will Make You Successful
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields)
- At least 6 months relevant experience in Microbiology lab or equivalent.
- Involvement and Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 will be an added advantage.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology or other related fields
Experience: At least 6 months relevant experience in Microbiology lab or equivalent
