Job Specifications

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in
engineering, computer science, information technology or related field.

Candidates who will have completed
their undergraduate course and will be awaiting graduation can apply.

Computer programming experience in
either Python, C/C++, or R is desirable. The candidate’s CV should include a
link to an online repository containing coding samples (eg. GitHub)

The candidates must have a keen
interest in developing machine learning and internet of things (IoT)
applications in areas such as health, agriculture and environmental
conservation.

Prior experience in developing machine
learning, IoT or related applications is desirable.

Experience with electrical hardware
design and electronic design automation software is desirable.

The interns will be engaged for six
months initially after which those with outstanding performance will be
considered for contract renewal.

Responsibilities

Research Interns shall be expected to
work for 40 hours per week on average. Specific duties are as follows;

Investigate machine learning methods
for various applications

Design and fabricate IoT devices for
data collection

Develop data collection pipelines for
IoT applications

Produce technical reports on tasks
performed

Any other duty that may be assigned by
an authorized officer.
